Breast Implants
There are several types of breast implants available today. Luna is proud to say that we embrace the newest technology in breast implants and our surgeons are dedicated to helping you select the one that is right for you. Each patient has a specific desired image, and different implants will help each achieve your unique vision. Depending on the look patients hope to obtain as a result of surgery, different shapes, sizes and materials are available.

What are Implants made from?
Breast implants are made from a silicon rubber shell and can be filled with either a sterile saline solution, or a viscous silicone gel.

How is size determined?
The size of your implant depends on the desired fullness. The shells are filled with either saline solution or silicon with the appropriate measurement (cc) that you and your surgeon have decided during pre-operative consultations.

Shape options
There are several different shapes of implants. You and your surgeon will choose the appropriate one for your surgery depending on your desired result. There are partial implants (used mostly in lifts), tear drop shaped implants (for a more natural shape), and round implants (for a fuller shape). Textured implants are also an option.
